PREP FOOTBALL: Riders bow to Olympic

(Port Angeles) -- Port Angeles muffed two kickoffs and gave up two fumbles deep in their own territory Friday night and the Olympic Trojans took a 46-6 gridiron win.

Port Angeles fell to 0-2 in Olympic League action, 0-4 on the season and their losing streak was extended to 14 games.

Olympic led 21-0 a halftime and PA scored in the third period on a Nate Angevine 2-yard quarterback sneak.

Olympic came back with a 45-yard swing pass score.

Port Angeles then gave up three short-field scores after two muffed kickoff runback attempts and a fumble on their own 36-yard line.

The Riders go to Klahowya Friday night.
