(Port Angeles) -- Commissioners for the Olympic Medical Center approved a 10 percent pay raise for C-E-O Eric Lewis this week.
Lewis was appointed to the position in 2006 after being promoted from his prior role as the Chief Financial Officer.
The commissioners wanted to retain Lewis with a competitive salary, citing his qualifications and job performance, by awarding him with a raise.
The proposed raise, once in effect, will raise Lewis' salary from his current 176-thousand dollars per year to 193-thousand-600.
