October 11th, 2013 - 10:01pm

Taking advantage of a fumble, a pass interception, a muffed kickoff return and swarming defense, the Port Angeles Roughriders beat the Bremerton Knights, 36-14, before a delighted football crowd at Civic Field in Port Angeles.

Port Angeles scored on a 4-yard by Matt Robbins after a Bremerton fumble early in the first period.

Bremerton then drove to the Rider five, only to have a bad snap from center sail over the quarterback's head. A 4th down pass was intercepted by Steven Lauderbach in the end zone to end the threat.

The Nights took a 7-6 lead momentslater on a 31-yard pass from Connor Mahoney to Michael Brown.

The Riders then scored three times before halftime, on a Nick Lasorsa 71-yard run, a 35-yard pass from Nathan Angevine to Miki Andrus and on another 35-yard pass from Angevine to Zak Withrow after a Bremertom muffed kickoff.

With a big lead, the Riders drove 72 yards with the second half kickoff and Lasorsa put the game away with a 1-yard plunge.

PA outgained the Knights 398 to 170.
