North K tops Riders

North Kitsap scored 40 points in the first half and rolled to a 47-7 Olympic League football win Friday in Poulsbo and are headed for a league showdown with Kingston Friday.
Kingston beat Bremerton 40-6 to set up a battle between two arch-rival teams that are 5-0 atop the league.
Port Angeles (1-4/1-6)goes to Sequim (0-5/0-7)Friday.
NK tool the opening kickoff 58 yards in 5 plays with Cody Blackmore going in from the nine. Trevor Dennis tallied on a 39-yard pass from Blackmore and Kyle North ran in from 25 yards in the first period.
The Vikings tallied three more in the second period, on a 49-yard pass to Dennis,a 10-yard strike to North and Mon Morgan ran in fro the two before halftime.
TJ Jensen intercepted a Rider pass to start the third, ran it back 44-yards to the one and scored one play later.
The Riders came right back with a drive of 58 yards, Caleb West blasting in from the 10.
NK wound up with 167 air yards and 201 ground yards, while PA was held to 46 yards passing, 123 running, most of those coming in two second-half drives.
In the other league games, Klahowya downed Sequim, 44-21, North Mason beat Olympic, 33-19.
