Stolen new car recovered

October 21st, 2013 - 5:30am

(Port Angeles) – A car that was driven off a new auto dealer’s lot a week ago has been recovered.

Clallam County sheriff's deputies found the white 2013 Hyundai Tucson stolen from the Ruddell Auto Mall in Port Angeles a week ago Sunday. The car was found parked at a business parking lot at 130 Harrison Road, Sequim last Friday.

The vehicle has been turned over to Ruddell Auto Mall.

But Port Angeles police are still looking for leads in the case. Apparently a lone male walked onto the Ruddell lot and used a wireless key fob to enter the vehicle, start it and drive off.

Anyone with information on the stolen vehicle is asked to contact the Port Angeles police at 452-4545.
