(Port Angeles) – A Clallam County deputy prosecutor is getting a career promotion.
Ann Lundwall is leaving Clallam County. She'll be part of the US Navy's new Victim Legal Counsel (VLC) Program. It was put together after the recent rise of sexual harassment and assault allegations that arose in the military nationally.
Lundwall will be continuing her career as a Judge Advocate General for the Navy, in which she is a Lieutenant Commander.
Lundwall tells Newsradio KONP she has enjoyed her past nearly seven years of service for the Clallam County.
Lundwall begins her new duties in November.
Clallam County commissioners, sheriff and city police personnel,
and many members of the Prosecuting Attorney's office, gave Lundwall a plaque and a rousing sendoff yesterday.
