Ballot returns still pacing below predicted turnout for tomorrow's election

November 4th, 2013 - 5:37am

(Port Angeles) Just 27 percent of the vote has come in by the end of last week for Clallam County's general election tomorrow.

County auditor Patty Rosand says her office has received about 12,600 of the more than 46-thousand ballots sent to voters for tomorrow's general election.

The turnout is well off the predicted 50 percent turnout election's officials had predicted statewide. It's on off-year election, which means no partisan offices are on the ballot for Clallam voters this time.

Ballots must be postmarked or back to an official drop box by tomorrow to be valid.
