30 percent of vote in as election day arrives in Clallam County

(Port Angeles) – Planning to vote in the General election? Ballots must be postmarked by today or dropped in an official drop box by 8 tonight.

Almost a third of the ballots have now been returned to the Clallam County Courthouse.

26-hundred 85 came in Monday.

Auditor Patty Rosand says her office has received 15-thousand-351 tallies for the general.

More than 46-thousand ballots sent to registered voters in Clallam County for tomorrow's general election. The turnout is well off the predicted 50 percent turnout officials had predicted statewide.

If you have lost your ballot, go to www.clallam.net/elections, click on MyVote and print a replacement ballot after logging in with your name and birth date. 

The Auditor’s office will be open in the Courthouse from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. tonght to assist voters with address changes and replacement ballots.
