Woman hurt in Elwha Bridge crash
November 5th, 2013 - 5:27am
(Port Angeles) –- A female driver suffered minor injuries when her car spun out of control near the Elwha River.
It happened about seven last night on Highway 101 near the bridge.
Fire District Two crews say the road was wet, when the woman's 2005 Toyota Camry was headed west on the highway . She apparently took the steep corner leading onto the bridge too fast and hit the guardrail. The car then spun 360 degrees ending up facing west in the east-bound lanes.
The woman was not identified, but firefighters say she was taken to Olympic Medical Center with minor injuries.
