Clallam Transit drivers reward "heroic" passenger

November 19th, 2013 - 5:39am

(Port Angeles) Clallam Transit and the union representing its drivers are saluting a local man who aided a driver who was being assaulted.

It happened October 12th. Joshua Graham of Sequim helped wrestled the offending passenger off the driver and off the bus. He then helped keep the man in place until police arrived.

Amalgamated Transit Union 587 yesterday publicly thanked Graham during the transit board meeting for intervening. The union also presented Graham a check for a thousand dollars out of its award fund.
