Sequim city offices to shutter, move

(SEQUIM) - In preparation for construction of their new Police facility and City Hall, the City of Sequim will start to close certain offices today. The staggered moving schedule will continue into the month of December.
David Garlington, the City Engineer and Assistant Public Works Director for Sequim, says only part of the offices will close today and make a move. He says most will be reopened in new locations by Friday afternoon.
But in December, Garlington says, a larger number of city offices, including many of the administrative offices, will shut down and be spread across the city temporarily.
City offices that are NOT moving and will remain open as usual, include the Sequim Police Station, Public Works and Community Development, the City Shop, and the Waste Water Treatment Plant.
