Dusting of snow on the way...maybe

December 9th, 2013 - 5:20am

(Port Angeles) We could see some light snow in our area over the next day or so.

Forecasters say the deep freeze that has gripped the north Olympic Peninsula for the past week is starting to transition. That means more moisture is moving in. And while the temperatures stay low, it could mean a chance of some light snow.

Flurries could happen at times today and tonight and a slight chance of snow tomorrow morning as well.

The snow level will be at around 200 feet.

But by Tuesday afternoon, the temperatures will warm and snow will change to rain.

The rest of week looks like a rainy pattern with highs in the 40's and lows at night in the mid to upper 30's.
