(Port Angeles) – Clallam County sheriff's investigators are looking for a second suspect in a burglary that happened two weeks ago in Dungeness.
The burglary was reported January 22nd, on Gold Dust Lane.
The burglary had occurred while the home owners were out of the area on vacation. Thieves made off with jewelry, several DVDs, silverware, and a vehicle. The total loss is estimated to be over $10,000.
The vehicle was found later and police arrested 20-year-old Jacob Gloor of Sequim. They also discovered Gloor sold several of the stolen items to local pawn shops and precious metal dealers.
Now detectives are looking for Ryan Van Winkle.
As a result of the above investigation, the Sheriff’s Office has obtained probable cause to arrest Ryan M Van Winkle for the burglary and the two vehicle prowls. Van Winkle is described as being 5’9’ tall, about 145 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He is slender built and was last seen wearing a full beard.
Investigators say both Gloor and Van Winkle are suspected in a rash of other residential burglaries and attempts in the Sequim and Port Angeles areas.
