(Sequim) – A suspect wanted in connection with a Sequim-area home break-in has turned himself in.
25-year-old Ryan Vanwinkle came to the Clallam County Courthouse Wednesday after telling authorities he was coming.
Vanwinkle was a second suspect wanted for a burglary January 22nd on Gold Dust Lane in the Dungeness area.
The burglary occurred while the home owners were out of the area on vacation. Thieves made off with jewelry, several DVDs, silverware, and a vehicle. The total loss is estimated to be over $10,000.
The vehicle was found later and police arrested 20-year-old Jacob Gloor of Sequim.
Investigators believe both Gloor and Vanwinkle are behind a rash of other residential burglaries and attempts in the Sequim and Port Angeles areas.
