Sequim library expansion plans to be aired

(Sequim) -- Plans for an updated library facility in the City of Sequim continue to unfold as the Library Board of Trustees host a meeting this Thursday in Port Angeles.
The meeting will serve as a needs assessment/feasibility report on whether or not the expansion of the present library will fall within the city's rules that govern such a project.
Paula Barnes, the Library Director, says that SHKS Architects will provide a report that outlines various technical aspects of what it will take to build a larger facility on the existing property.
Barnes says that the public's input is important to the library board, even in this early phase of the project.
Due to a scheduling conflict, the meeting is scheduled to take place in the Port Angeles Library, and will start this Thursday at 5:30 in the evening.
