Sequim school bond forum tonight

(Sequim) – The Sequim School District holds its first in a series of public forums on an upcoming bond issue.
Between four and six this evening, the district's superintendent and business manager will talk about the construction plans and field questions about the proposal. The meeting takes place at the Sequim High School library.
The district is asking voters next month to approve a 154-million-dollar bond.
It will pay for a list of items in the district. If approved, the district plans to build a new elementary school and renovate the high school and the district's other two elementary schools. The district would also prep to take in alternative school students.
The money would also pay to upgrade the high school stadium and build and renovate the district's maintenance facility.
Ballots go out in two weeks and will be due back by April 22nd.
The district will have another bond forum April 8th.
