(Sequim) Heading into the final two days, about 41 percent of the ballots are back for the Sequim School District's bond issue.

Through last week, just under 89-hundred of the more than 21-thousand ballots sent out had been returned to county elections officials.

Voters have until tomorrow to get ballots postmarked or in an official drop box to be valid.

The district is seeking approval of a $154-million dollar bond to pay for renovation of two elementary schools and the high school, building a new elementary and making improvements to the high school stadium. The bond would also pay to upgrade the district's maintenance facilities.
