Pay raises coming for Sequim officials?
April 28th, 2014 - 5:37am
(Sequim) – The Sequim city council takes up a plan to give themselves and the city manager raises tonight.
Under the plan, city council members would see their stipend rise a hundred dollars a month to $250. The mayor's pay would rise to $410 a month.
The city could also raise manager Steve Burkett's pay by three percent. If approved, he would earn just over 131-thousand dollars. Burkett's pay raise follows a nearly perfect performance score given to him by the city council during a retreat earlier this month.
The Sequim city council meets at the Sequim Transit Center starting at 6 tonight.
