Highway 101 clear after injury accident at Diamond Pt.

(Diamond Point) -- An injury accident blocked an intersection on Highway 101 at Diamond Point Road this afternoon.
Clallam Fire District 3 was dispatched at 12:13 PM to a 2 vehicle collision.
Arriving emergency units found a two car “T-Bone” accident with three patients involved.
The male driver of a vehicle struck on the rear passenger side was injured.
Two female patients in a vehicle with front end damage had non-life threatening injuries.
Both vehicles had their airbags deployed and sustained significant damage in the crash.
Medics treated all three patients and transported the two females to Olympic Medical Center.
The Washington State Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.
The intersection was blocked for approximately 1 hour with Clallam County Sheriff Deputies directing traffic.
Fire District 3, Olympic Ambulance, Washington State Patrol and Clallam County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the incident.
