Sequim takes fast pitch win

The Sequim Wolves came up with four runs in the top of the fifth inning and went on to beat the Port Angeles Roughriders 8-5 at Dry Creek Friday.

Sequim takes the top spot to West Central District May 23rd at Sprinker Rec Area in Spanaway and will face the winner of Bremerton, South Sound 4.

Port Angeles will meet the winner of SS 8 and SS3 Friday afternoon.

Trailing 5-2, The Wolves erupted for four runs off Rider starter Nizhoni Wheeler. Three singles loaded the sacked and Alexis Besand drilled a gramd sla homer to right center.

Port Angeles wiped out a 2-0 Sequim lead with four runs in the second. Three singles and a fielder's choice did the trick.

A big crowd watched the action and both teams showed good form and are ready for district.
