Riders, Wolves to state track finals.

Sequim qualified seven boys and two girls for individual events at state this weekend, while Port Angeles qualified one boy and two girls for the big meet.

SEQUIM - Alex Barry won the javelin and set a meet record with a 181-11 toss. CJ Daniels was second in the 800, Mikey Cobb 3rd in the 3,200, Oscar Herrera 3rd in the 110 hurdles, Austin Sampson was 4th in the discus, Josh Cibene 4th in the pole vault, and Austin Sampson 5th in the discus as the top 5 in each event advanced to state.

Sequim girls to qualified included Waverly Shreffler 5th in the 400 and Sara Hutchinson 3rd in the discus. Sequim also has a 4x400 relay in state

PORT ANGELES - Senior Jolene Millsap captured the 100, placing second by a narrow margin in the 200 to lead the Riders. Willow Seuss was 5th in the 400, Britany Norberg 2nd in the javelin.
