(Chimacum) -- A Port Townsend woman was injured this afternoon after a car vs. bicycle collision in Chimacum.

The Washington State Patrol reports the accident happened at 1:25 this afternoon at the intersection of Highway 19 and Four Corners Road.

Reports say 58-year-old Patrick Waller of Port Hadlock was stopped in the northbound center turn lane on Highway 19 in a silver 2006 Chevy pickup.

Authorities say 48-year-old Nichole Sturdivant was pedaling southbound through the intersection on a road racing bicycle when Waller started the turn onto 4 Corners Road.

Reports say the bicyclist collided with the right side of the vehicle.

Sturdivant was wearing a bicycle helmet. She was transported by aid to Jefferson General Hospital.

The bicycle had non-reportable damage.

Reports say Waller was not injured, but was cited for failure to yield right of way.
