Local vet advocate trying to help with VA issues

(PORT ANGELES)-- In light of the recent troubles springing up at Veterans Administration Hospitals all over the country, someone locally is doing her part to make sure that veterans on the Olympic Peninsula are being cared for properly.
Venay Money is the President of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. She is spurring an effort for local veterans to voice their concerns about health care at the state's VA facilities.
Money has been active in veterans affairs in Clallam County for 27 years since she first joined the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Port Angeles.
