Port Angeles High School principal resigns

(Port Angeles) Port Angeles High School's principal has resigned to take a job in Southern California.

Current principal Garry Cameron says he's leaving the post to become the next principal at Upland High School in California.

In a letter to students and staff, Cameron says a group from Upland visited Port Angeles and Port Angeles High School earlier this week. He was offered the job last night, and accepted. His last day is tomorrow.

Assistant principal Jeff Clark has been named the interim principal.

Cameron has been principal at PA High since 2009.
