Graduation weekend for Port Angeles, Sequim

(Port Angeles) Port Angeles and Sequim high schools graduate their senior classes tonight.

Sequim will hold it's commencement exercises at 6 pm at the Wolves' stadium along north Sequim Avenue.

Port Angeles' ceremonies get underway tonight at 8 pm in the school's gymnasium. Principal Garry Cameron will oversee his final commencement ceremony at Port Angeles. He says tonight, PAHS will graduate one of its largest classes in some time, predicting more than 230 graduates. He says that would be the most graduates since 2010.

Cameron resigned yesterday, taking a job as a principal in Southern California. He's under contract here until the end of June, but will use vacation time to move his family right after graduation tonight. Assistant principal Jeff Clark has been name interim principal for the next year.
