Plans for new PA high school begin Tuesday

June 23rd, 2014 - 5:43am

(Port Angeles) The Port Angeles School District takes another step closer to building a new high school this week.

Tomorrow night, the architects hired to come up with a design for a proposed high school will meet with the public.

Michael McGavock of McGranahan Architects will lead a forum, taking suggestions for what the public might like to see in a new facility.

The forum runs from 6:30 to 8 pm in the high school library. There will be two more similar forums in the coming weeks.

The architects are tasked with coming up with a plan to go to the school board. The board will use the plans to help determine the size of a bond issue that will most likely go before voters next February.
