When can you discharge fireworks locally?

(Port Angeles) -- Although legal fireworks sales are underway, it is still illegal to ignite them inside the City of Port Angeles.

The city only allows fireworks to be discharged on the Fourth of July between 9 a.m. and 11 p.m.

However, those in unincorporated Clallam County and the cities of Sequim and Forks can now legally ignite fireworks through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., on the Fourth of July from 9 a.m. to midnight and on July 5th from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
