(Port Angeles) – Crews will start to fix parts of Highway 112 this week.
Travelers on the highway should expect delay through the end of August.
Beginning tomorrow, state DOT will begin work between the Elwha River and Twin River.
Between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each weekday through Thursday, Aug. 28, crews will fix potholes, seal cracks and apply a protective surface to existing pavement known as chip-sealing in numerous areas between milepost 38 and 61.
During most of the work, the highway will be reduced to one-way alternating traffic.
